2008 was another great year for Boot Lake fishing! The
walleye fishing in early June was some of the best we have had
in the last 10 years. The bass fishing has also picked up the last
few years. Some nice fish are taken thoughout the summer,
although June was again the best month. The hot crappie
fishing with stringers of large crappies has slowed a bit.
People are still catching crappies in the spring, just not the full
stringers of huge fish. We have included nearly 80 photos in
our 2008 section. Not every picture shows a large stringer of fish,
however, we couldn't pass up the enthusiasm of these kids with their
fish.
