Half
Moon Trail is a mid-sized resort with an
entertainment emphasis. We are large
enough to offer the kind of amenities one would
expect at a much larger resort, yet small enough
to offer personal care and service. Consider the
lodge: a spacious game room and snack bar with
WIFI, plus a cozy fireplace room with its wall
of glass facing the lake; a spa area for
massage, hot tub, and sauna; and another game
room with ping pong. Step outside and enter the
pool through a lovely garden courtyard. The
ample beach is surrounded by terraced gardens,
flanked by a fleet of kayaks, canoes and
hydro-bikes, and backed by a row of lounge
chairs. A couple of docks stand guard in front,
ready for the kids, worms, and flopping fish.
Or get out onto the
lake with a rental boat or pontoon. Still
looking for more to do? Consider the rec area;
the kids love it: a large Rainbow playground,
sand volleyball, horseshoes, carpetball,
knuckleball, and marble mountain. And one last
opportunity, adult road bikes for touring our
quiet, blacktopped country road. All of this at
"no-charge," with the exception of the massage,
fishing boats, and pontoon!
